This section features 15 books, either written or edited by me between 1980 and 2019, about half of which were published internationally. It also includes my 13 most-cited publications on various aspects of applied sociology, particularly in health. The citations come from Google Scholar, which has given me an overall h-index score of 44 (which means that this number of my publications have been cited at least 44 times). This work is seldom a solo effort. Apart from a few of books early on, everything has required collaboration, support and team work, and for that I thank my colleagues.
